This post is to detail what I will be making for the group theme project.
When discussing what theme we would use with my group, we had inspirations from both old history and sci-fi. We chose the Disney film Treasure Planet as the inspiration for our room as it uses both old history and sci-fi elements in the design of it.
The room we want to make is the captain’s quaters of a Treasure Planet (2007) style pirate ship. It will have an old style aesthetic, primarily wood, with futuristic elements mixed in to it.
I will include a list of the assets I will be making accompanied by rough sketches I have done of each.
- A globe (Possibly holographic)
- A lockbox
- A door with a keypad
- A book
- A display case
- A beer barrel
- A hanging lantern
- A treasure chest
- A pouch of coins
