Making the Space Invaders clone, I followed the video tutorials on Canvas. I did run into a few issues while making and testing the game.

The first issue I had was with the bullets. When I pressed space to fire them, they weren’t appearing. I tried firing again, this time moving my ship, and found that they were firing but sitting still when fired. I then found that I hadn’t given them a speed so they were just sitting still.

Another issue I had was with the random spawning locations of the enemies. I found that I hadn’t put Random = UnityEngine.Random, when I did it worked.
A third issue I came across was with the enemy movement. When I pressed play on my game I found that the enemies weren’t moving down. I found this was because the prefab enemy I had set was an old version that didn’t have the movement script linked to it. I deleted the old prefab and put a new one in.
