This weeks activity had me lighting and rendering objects in Maya.
The activity started with modelling a simple table, some objects to go on top and a background.

I then had to put a camera into the scene and put it in place so that the models were properly framed for the render.

Once the camera was in, I added the area lights and adjusted their values differently so that light was harsher on one side.

I then rendered the scene through the view of the camera I created, the objects and background are white as they don’t have anything applied to them yet.

I added AIStandardSurfaces to each of the objects and changed their values differently so that they would each look like a different material.

Then I changed the settings in render settings so that the scene would be rendered in 1080p.

This is the final render.
