The eighth object I am making for the theme group assignment is a treasure chest.

I started the model by creating a cube primitive, increasing the scale of it and adding support loops around the outside of the shape.

I then extruded the top face of the object and brought it downwards to create a hollow area in the center. I then created another cube primitive, changed the scale and added more subdivisions. I then edited the height of the vertexes to add a slope to the top of the object.

After this, I added support loops to the newly created top object.

I then smoothed the object.
