In today’s lab session, I worked with the Zsphere in Zbrush. I struggled with this feature but hope that with time I will get better at using it.
The first thing I tried to model was a diplodocus. I had quite a rough time trying to get it together as I haven’t quite gotten used to the camera movement controls in Zbrush.
The second thing I tried modelling was a t-rex. It really didn’t go well. I believe the main problem I had was the size of the Zspheres. They were far too small for the model. I also had issues with the placement of limbs, making the model look off. I didn’t end up finishing the t-rex, though looking back at it increasing the size of the body would have solved the problem I was having. Once the body is bigger, I could have added the head and resized the arms and it wouldn’t have looked terrible.
