For the level design assignment, I have decided to improve the sewer level created by Stuart when he was in university. The level Stuart created had the player moving through a sewer, finding various science rooms along the way. I intend to use the sewer environment but drop the advanced tech elements he used. Instead, I will have the player move from a sewer, to a small cave in which they will find the temple of a long forgotten being. I am doing this as I find supernatural elements more interesting than scientific so it’ll be more fun for me to create.
