I have again developed the character. This time I have drawn the developed head on an anatomically proportional body. The previous drawings I had done were off of the top of my head, so this time I used a reference so that I could draw the body properly. Initially, I drew the head and body with the body just being muscles. After that, I added clothes and accessories to the character so that I could get a better idea of what it might look like with them on.
The first item of clothing added was the helmet. This helmet is a mix between a hard hat and headgear used to protect the head when sparring, for example in boxing. When I was initially planning the clothing for the character, this was the first item that came to mind so I wanted to make sure it actually fit the character before moving ahead with it. The second item I added was the protective vest. This vest would protect the torso against attacks and due to having no sleeves, wouldn’t limit mobility. The vest features various straps to keep it on and the plates attached. Due to it having no sleeves, a well fitting thermal top is worn underneath, assuming it’s cold outside. The third item added were the hand wraps. I had initially planned on having the character wear boxing gloves but soon realized that they wouldn’t be practical in the workplace so moved away from the idea. Hand wraps however, would not be as restricting as boxing gloves but would still protect the knuckles. I also tried drawing elbow guards onto the character but they meshed too much with the hand wraps so I don’t see them being included in the final design.
