Reflecting upon the project, I am proud of what Lee and I were able to create.
When we initially teamed up, we had never spoken to each other yet were able to work together without issues. We communicated ideas and criticisms to each other and used them to refine ideas. As we do different courses, we had extremely different skill sets. These skill sets allowed us to provide perspective on certain issues or elements and work together to complete them.
Although we worked and communicated well, I now realize that the scope of the idea we had chosen was far too large for us to complete in the time frame we had. The project started out well but tasks soon became too large for us to handle and we had to prioritize higher priority elements over others, leaving the project incomplete.
Even with a scope too large however Lee and I were still able to move a large way through the project, creating elements such as the games world and story, gameplay mechanics, lighting, level blockout and world decoration, and I am proud of that regardless of our inability to completely finish the project.
