I have made another animation guide for my third animation, this animation will be the character walking.

To create this guide I took a video of myself walking in different ways. I realized towards the end of recording that I would need to be able to use the visuals to make steps and that I had been walking too fast to be able to get those steps. This caused me to walked slightly exaggerated and almost in slow motion.

I got four steps out of the video, this was enough to create a guide for the character walking. Similarly to the other guide I created, I have darkened the limbs in the foreground to indicate them being there. This will allow me to distinguish between foreground and background limbs easier when referencing the guide.

Although it is an extremely simple animation I will still be able to display principles of animation. The pose-to-pose principle is shown as the guide follows key poses from throughout the video rather than every frame. Follow through will also be shown as the character will lift and drop their legs as they walk. Overlapping actions will also be shown with the arms moving at the same time as the legs.
