This post will cover the testing I did with MASH in this weeks lab session.
Following the tutorials on Canvas, I created a cube and turned it into a MASH mesh.
Once I had created the MASH mesh, I experimented with distribution types.
I then added further changes to the mesh. I first added the a random node.
I then also added a colour node, slightly altering the values.
Finally, I added a falloff node to the random node. This causes only the specific area the node is in range of to have the random effect.
After I had experiment for a while, I followed the tutorial for the roller coaster breaking through a wall animation. Although I completed this and attempted to render, the renderer kept crashing midway. Even after further tweaks to various settings, I couldn’t get the animation to fully render.
