This post will detail the development of the story I am creating for the Immersive Design module.
Considering the theme of Down The Rabbit Hole, I wrote down a variety of ideas I believed to fit the theme. The ideas vary but all share the theme of an unnatural manipulation of the environment around the user. When thinking on the theme, I wanted to convey my own interpretation of it.

After consideration of the various prompts I wrote down, I moved onto listening to audio in hopes it might inspire ideas. When listening I came up with the idea of watching the solar system end. The user would start within a bedroom with a monitor displaying a prompt, experience time immemorial, they would then watch the solar system. This would then play in reverse and they would be left standing in front of the monitor. To better flesh out this idea I created a simple storyboard using assets made by myself. Simple colours were applied to better distinguish them.
The animation begins with the user looking at the computer. A prompt appears saying ‘Experience time immemorial’. User clicks yes. 
The user is thrown up into space, they watch the solar system form around them.
The sun expands, engulfing the planets around it. 
The sun then shrinks down into a white dwarf star.
The solar system then reverts to its current day state. The user is then thrown back down to the starting position.
