After creating storyboards for the animation, I looked for audio that would fit well throughout.
The first sound is named Beach Distortion (2017). This audio gives me the feeling of complete peace. When listening I can see a scene of serenity, disturbed by non.
The second sound is named Distorted Frog (2008). This audio is the croak of a frog distorted in audio software. Although it is simply a distorted frog croak, it denotes a certain sense of terror. The impression of inescapable horror is given, as if something is coming that is terrible.
The third sound is named Time Stop (2019). Listening to this audio I am given the impression of everything coming to a halt and folding in around itself, then suddenly unfolding and returning to how it was before.
The fourth sound is named Pause Resume (2021). This audio is similar to the third, although it is less impactful to me. The clock like ticking gives me the impression that this sound brings thing back to the way they should be. After the impactful hit of the third sound, this one restores time to its regular state.
Listening to the tracks, I was able to better develop the story for the animation.. The story would follow an individual thrown up into space to watch the birth, then death of the solar system. The Pause Resume (2021) track would play as the user slowly rises, then towards the end of the track the user would rapidly rise to space. The Beach Distortion (2017) track would play as the user watches the solar system come into existence, with planets and moons forming all around them. The Distorted Frog (2008) track would then play as the sun burns brighter and brighter, growing to consume planets throughout the solar system then shrinking down to a white dwarf. The Time Stop (2019) track would then play, time would reverse back to the point of the solar system being as it is today. The user would then be thrown back down to Earth in the location they started. The Pause Resume (2021) track would play just before the user touches the ground, they would slow down greatly during the time the track plays.
